Delta Dental Premier offers a few different plans, which vary somewhat in their details. It is important that you take a bit of time to familiarize yourself with your unique policy so you understand the nuances of how it applies in varies situations.

Before you do that, though, you can get a general idea of the coverage that might be available to you by considering this overview:

• Preventive services, such as cleanings, exams, and X-rays, are often 100% covered.

Keep in mind that there may be a waiting period, deductible and other stipulations that apply to your care. You are also likely to have an annual maximum, which is the highest dollar amount that Delta Dental will pay for approved services within a calendar year. Because we are in the Delta Dental Premier network, you are likely to get more value out of your annual maximum when you visit us as opposed to an out-of-network provider. In some cases, we can even split up major treatments across calendar years to allow for the use of two annual maximums instead of only one.
